The FSM Social Security Administration (FSMSSA) is excited to have eight work-study students from the College of Micronesia (COM-FSM) gaining valuable hands-on experience at our Headquarters! This Work-Study Program is designed to provide students with real-world exposure to professional environments, helping them develop essential skills for their future careers.
Our work-study students are actively contributing across different divisions:
Claims Division – 4 students assisting with processing and reviewing benefit applications.
IT Division – 3 students gaining practical experience in technical support and systems management.
Accounting Division – 1 student learning about financial operations and record-keeping.
By working alongside FSMSSA professionals, these students are not only building their skills but also gaining insight into the vital services we provide to the people of the FSM. We are proud to support the growth and development of future leaders and look forward to seeing them excel!
Let’s welcome these bright young minds, as they journey with us for the first half of this year!
